A dentist-designed kids' oral care gift set with a rechargeable toothbrush, bubblegum toothpaste, and fun extras. Here's what's inside and who it fits best.
Quick answer
The Limited-Edition Tank Gift Set is a ready-to-give oral care gift set for kids who already brush with an electric toothbrush or are ready to start. It bundles the Kids "Tank" Rechargeable Electric Toothbrush, three brush heads, Tank Bubblegum Toothpaste, and fun extras that make brushing feel less like a chore. If your child likes character-themed gear and you want a dentist-designed set without assembling pieces yourself, this is the simplest pick. If your child is under 2 or strongly prefers a different character, choose a different set.
What's actually in the box
The set centers on the Kids "Tank" Rechargeable Electric Toothbrush, which is clinically proven to remove 8x more plaque than a manual brush. You get three brush heads in the box, so you don't need to reorder immediately. The included Tank Bubblegum Toothpaste matches the set's flavor theme, and the extras are designed to make the gift feel complete rather than like a toothbrush dropped in a box.
- Kids "Tank" Rechargeable Electric Toothbrush
- 3 brush heads
- Tank Bubblegum Toothpaste
- Fun extras that support the Tank character theme
How to decide if it's the right gift
Start with your child's age and current brushing routine. The Tank set is built around a rechargeable handle, so it suits a child who can manage a slightly heavier handle and will use a charger. If your child is still learning to hold a brush independently or is under 2, a smaller, lighter brush with a kid-sized grip is a better fit. If your child is losing teeth or starting braces, a tween-oriented brush with multiple cleaning modes may serve them longer.
Where the Tank set fits against other kids' electric brushes
The Cheetah and Panda Electric Toothbrush sets are built for ages 2+ with a kid-sized grip, gentle compact head, and 2-minute timer, and both include six replacement brush heads. The "We Run This" Electric Toothbrush is designed for ages 7+ with two cleaning modes for the in-between years of losing teeth and getting braces. The Tank set sits in the gift-ready category: fewer spare heads than the Cheetah or Panda sets, but a complete themed package with toothpaste and extras. If you want the lowest cost per brush head, the six-head sets win. If you want a gift that feels like a present, the Tank set wins.
Practical trade-offs before you buy
The Tank set is limited-edition, so availability can change and replacement parts may not stay in stock forever. The brush heads are specific to the Tank handle, so check that you can reorder them before you commit. The bubblegum toothpaste flavor is a strong selling point for kids who resist mint, but if your child dislikes bubblegum, you'll need a separate toothpaste. Finally, the set includes three brush heads rather than six, so plan for a reorder sooner than you would with the Cheetah or Panda sets.
Decision rules for the Tank Gift Set
- Age and handle size: The Tank set uses a rechargeable handle. If your child is under 2 or still needs a very light, kid-sized grip, the Cheetah or Panda brush is the better fit. Choose Tank for a child who can handle a rechargeable brush; choose Cheetah or Panda for ages 2+ with a lighter grip.
- Replacement head supply: Tank includes 3 brush heads; Cheetah and Panda include 6. If you don't want to reorder for months, the six-head sets stretch further. Tank is the gift; Cheetah or Panda is the long-haul supply.
- Tween needs: If your child is 7+ and dealing with loose teeth or braces, the "We Run This" brush adds two cleaning modes that the Tank set doesn't list. For tweens, pick "We Run This" over Tank.
- Flavor and theme: Tank includes Bubblegum Toothpaste and character extras. If your child dislikes bubblegum or prefers a different character, the set loses its main advantage. Only buy Tank if the theme and flavor match your child.
