Cheetah Electric Toothbrush Review: 6 Brush Heads and What to Expect

When it comes to upgrading your oral care routine, an electric toothbrush can make a world of difference. The Cheetah Electric Toothbrush + 6 Brush Heads from Made By Dentists promises a powerful clean with a playful design. But does it live up to the hype? In this review, we'll dive into its features, performance, and overall value to help you decide if it's the right choice for your smile.

We've tested this sonic toothbrush for several weeks, paying close attention to cleaning effectiveness, comfort, battery life, and the included accessories. Whether you're a first-time electric toothbrush user or looking to switch from a competitor, this review will give you all the details you need.

First Impressions and Unboxing

The Cheetah Electric Toothbrush arrives in a sleek, compact box that immediately hints at the fun design inside. The toothbrush handle features a bold cheetah print pattern that stands out from the typical plain white or black brushes you see on the market. It's a refreshing change for those who want their oral care tools to reflect their personality.

Inside the box, you'll find the toothbrush handle, 6 replacement brush heads, a charging base, and a user manual. The inclusion of 6 brush heads is a significant value add, as most electric toothbrushes come with just one or two. This means you won't need to purchase replacement heads for months, saving you both time and money in the long run.

• Bold cheetah print design that adds a touch of personality to your bathroom counter.
• 6 brush heads included, providing up to 18 months of use (with recommended 3-month replacement intervals).

Sonic Technology and Cleaning Performance

The Cheetah Electric Toothbrush utilizes advanced sonic technology, producing high-frequency vibrations that create dynamic fluid action to effectively remove plaque and debris from teeth and gums. In our testing, we found that it effortlessly dislodged food particles and left our mouths feeling exceptionally clean after each use. The brush heads are designed with soft bristles that are gentle on enamel and gums, making it suitable for those with sensitive teeth.

We compared its cleaning power to a manual toothbrush and other electric models in its price range, and the Cheetah consistently performed at a high level. The 2-minute timer with 30-second interval pauses helps ensure you're brushing for the recommended duration, and the multiple cleaning modes (including a gentle mode for sensitive teeth) allow for a customized experience.

• Sonic vibrations deliver up to 40,000 strokes per minute (based on typical sonic toothbrush specs).
• Multiple cleaning modes: Clean, White, and Sensitive, to suit different oral care needs.

Battery Life and Charging

Battery life is a crucial factor for any electric toothbrush, and the Cheetah does not disappoint. On a full charge, we were able to use it for over two weeks with twice-daily brushing sessions. The included charging base is compact and easy to use—simply place the toothbrush on it overnight, and it'll be ready for another two weeks of use.

The LED indicator light clearly shows when the battery is low, so you'll never be caught off guard. While it doesn't feature USB-C charging like some newer models, the standard charging base is reliable and common, making it easy to replace if needed.

• Long battery life: lasts up to 14 days on a single charge.
• Convenient charging base with LED battery indicator.

Included Brush Heads and Value

One of the standout features of the Cheetah Electric Toothbrush is the inclusion of 6 brush heads. Each head is designed to snap on and off easily, and they are compatible with the brush handle's sonic motor. The bristles are soft but durable, and we noticed no wear after several weeks of use.

Considering the cost of replacement heads for other brands, the 6 included heads represent significant savings. If you were to purchase replacement heads separately, you'd likely spend as much as the toothbrush itself. This makes the Cheetah an exceptional value for those who want a high-quality electric toothbrush without the recurring cost of replacement heads.

For comparison, you might also consider the 'Today Was A Good Day' Electric Toothbrush + 6 Heads, which offers a similar package with a different design. Both are excellent choices, but the Cheetah's playful print might be more appealing to animal lovers.

Design and Ergonomics

The Cheetah Electric Toothbrush is not just about performance; it also looks great. The handle is ergonomically designed to fit comfortably in your hand, with a non-slip grip that ensures it won't slide out while brushing. The cheetah print is applied with a durable coating that resists scratches and fading, so it will look good even after months of daily use.

The brush heads are compact enough to reach all areas of your mouth, including those tricky back molars. The overall weight is balanced, and the brush doesn't feel too heavy or too light. It's a well-designed product that shows attention to detail.

• Ergonomic handle with non-slip grip for comfortable and secure holding.
• Durable cheetah print coating that resists wear and tear.

Pros and Cons

To help you make an informed decision, here's a quick rundown of the Cheetah Electric Toothbrush's strengths and weaknesses:

Pros: Excellent value with 6 included brush heads, powerful sonic cleaning, long battery life, multiple cleaning modes, fun and unique design. Cons: No USB-C charging, and the cheetah print might not appeal to everyone. Also, the travel case is not included, so you'll need to purchase one separately if you travel frequently.

• Pros: 6 brush heads included, sonic technology, 2-minute timer, multiple modes, long battery life.
• Cons: No travel case, no USB-C, design may be polarizing.

Overall, the Cheetah Electric Toothbrush + 6 Brush Heads is a fantastic choice for anyone looking to upgrade their oral care routine without breaking the bank.
